IFRS Expert – Regional Center of Excellence

A leading multinational company is seeking an IFRS Expert to join its Regional Finance Center of Excellence for the Americas region.

This role will be responsible for supporting the implementation and consistent application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), while partnering with regional finance teams on reporting, technical accounting matters, audits, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical IFRS guidance and support to regional finance teams.
• Participate in the preparation and review of IFRS financial reporting packages.
• Ensure consistent application of accounting policies and corporate reporting standards.
• Analyze complex accounting topics including estimates, provisions, revenue recognition, impairments, and disclosures.
• Coordinate technical accounting matters with internal and external auditors.
• Support process improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives within finance and reporting processes.
• Participate in accounting, systems, and transformation-related projects.
• Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders in a multinational environment.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is a strong plus.

Experience

• 4–5 years of experience in:
• Big 4 audit firms (financial audit / IFRS), and/or accounting or finance functions within multinational organizations.
• Hands-on experience in IFRS interpretation and application.
• Exposure to regional or corporate environments is highly desirable.
